Rinella icterica, male


Rinella icterica, which belongs to Bufonidae Family, is popularly known as common toad. It has rough integument and the male is yellowish. Among its features this toad present the parotoid glands located at the head, posterior to the eyes. In addition, females are usually bigger than males. This toad can be found from the southeast to south of Brazil.
